Step 1: Create a Windows 7 Password Reset CD
Download the ZIP archive file of Windows Password Resetter and save it on any computer you have access to. Unzip it and there should be a bootable ISO image: WPR.iso. Burn the image onto a blank CD using any CD burning software such as BurnCDCC.
Step 2: Configure BIOS to Boot from CD/DVD
Boot your locked computer. When it is powered on, check the boot-screen for setup key (i.e. DELETE key, F8 key, F2 key, F12 key) to enter BIOS Setup Utility.
Choose the BOOT menu and set Boot Device Priority option: Set the 1st Boot Device to CD/DVD-ROM if what you created is a bootable CD/DVD. Press F10 to save your changes.
Step 3: Reset Windows 7 Password
Insert the burned CD/DVD or USB flash drive to your locked computer and reboot the computer. The boot loading screen should appear immediately.
After completion of boot process, you see the main screen of Windows Password Resetter.
